Foredrag 28. oktober 2024 om De 3 store B’er v\/ Jan L\u00f8fberg i Herning Skakklub. Her ses et udsnit af de fremm\u00f8de klubmedlemmer foruden Jan L\u00f8fberg (th).<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mandag den 28. oktober m\u00f8dte mere end halvdelen af Herning Skakklubs 48 medlemmer s\u00e5vel unge som \u00e6ldre op til foredrag af Jan L\u00f8fberg, Skakbladets mange\u00e5rige redakt\u00f8r og forfatter til et mesterv\u00e6rk i flere bind om skakspilleren Bent Larsen, om de 3 B’er: Boris, Bent og Bobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foredragsholderen indledte med at fort\u00e6lle om to v\u00e6sentlige begivenheder fra Herning, som fik afg\u00f8rende betydning for Bent Larsen:
Den f\u00f8rste episode var fra 1948, hvor en 12-\u00e5rig dreng fra Holstebro vandt p\u00e5 25. br\u00e6t i den \u00e5rlige match mellem Herning og Holstebro. Partiet var en trebondegambit og blev spillet i Herning Haandv\u00e6rkerforening.
Den anden episode var var 1952, hvor Bent Larsen vandt mesterklassen ved p\u00e5skest\u00e6vnet i Herning og blev landsholdsspiller i en alder af blot 17 \u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T\u00f8rre fakta blev gjort til en levende fort\u00e6lling om de tre skakspilleres karriere, hvor nedslag i skakhistorien viste en r\u00e6kke interessante ligheder. For dem alle gjaldt det eksempelvis, at der gik 8 \u00e5r fra deres f\u00f8rste indtog p\u00e5 den internationale scene i til deres helt store gennembrud. \u00c5rsagerne hertil blev grundigt gennemg\u00e5et.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et andet element i foredraget var en opg\u00f8r med mange amerikanske freml\u00e6ggelser om “ondt blod” mellem disse topspillere. Ganske vist havde Bent Larsen p\u00e5 et tidspunkt fungeret som sekundant for Bobby Fischer og ikke kunnet levere det n\u00f8dvendige niveau i sine analyser til Fischers \u00e6rgrelse, men derfra og til at der opstod et decideret fjendskab, kunne L\u00f8fberg med fotos og korrespondance dokumentere var at tage munden lidt rigeligt fuld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Jan L\u00f8fberg er en stor kapacitet inden for sit felt kom til udtryk ved b\u00e5de de mange eksempler fra spilleres liv og karrierer og hans formidable evne til at kunne ryste information om resultater mv. ud af \u00e6rmet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meget naturligt havde Jan L\u00f8fberg medbragt sine murstenstunge udgivelser om Bent Larsen, der blev tilbudt klubbens medlemmer til en fordelagtig pris.
